Quiddity Place invites you to visit Tin Liz Gallery and Little Tin Local Gallery.
Our spaces are a celebration of Australian art with the vibrant space of Tin Liz Gallery bringing together works from both celebrated and emerging Australian artists. Little Tin Gallery showcases contemporary and modern art from local, established, and emerging artists in a range of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, and jewellery.
Our galleries offer a rich tapestry of creativity and talent just waiting for you to visit.

Come and Visit
Tin Liz Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00am – 4:00pm, and no bookings are needed – just drop in! After a wine tasting at the Oakdene Cellar Door and enjoying a delicious meal at Hidden Frog, take a moment to wander through the gallery.
The exhibition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island art in Tin Liz Gallery is a permanent collection for viewing and appreciation. The exhibition showcases contemporary Aboriginal art practice, with pieces coming primarily from communities located through the middle strip of Australia – for example, Utopia (Northern Territory), APY Lands – Anangu, Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara (South Australia), Pitupi (Western Australia and Northern Territory), Kimberley (Western Australia) as well as one piece from Torres Strait – Bathurst Island.
The art itself expresses people’s essential relationship with the land and their spirit ancestors and includes artists who have had significant solo careers and who have also contributed to collective works and movements.
Artworks form part of a private collection that started in the 1990’s – visiting communities and acquiring pieces from different galleries, one piece at a time. Pieces in this gallery are not for sale.

Come and join the conversation at Little Tin Gallery @ Quiddity Place and participate in a wonderful Q & A with artist Rimona Kedem.
Widely acclaimed, artist Rimona Kedem has exhibited internationally since 1967.
Rimona’s paintings are evocative, lyrical and draw on the comic-tragic metaphysical fabric of life. Her experimental inquiry has created her own authentic style that showcases her creativity, innovation and personal perspective.
The Little Tin Local Gallery Q & A with Rimona Kedem and Liz Hooley is planned as a conversation exploring the ideas, influences and creative process behind Rimona’s practice. The discussion will touch on Rimona’s life journey – understanding the thoughts, influences and experiences that have shaped her art.
It is expected that both artists and art lovers will gain an understanding into Rimona’s narrative as well as the vision and messaging behind her work. Discussion and questions about Rimona’s technique and methods will also be addressed.

Little Tin Local Gallery
Our Local Gallery – The Little Tin Gallery is a bright, open space – the original farm horse shed, refurbished and redesigned to showcase art. With high ceilings, natural light, and practical amenities, it’s an ideal venue for artists to showcase their work.
The vision for the Little Tin local Gallery is to showcase contemporary and modern art from local, established, and emerging artists in a range of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, and jewellery. The Gallery’s approach is neither bland nor conformist, hanging established and unknown artists alongside each other with a theme of colour and experimentation. We aim to: show artists in the best light so that viewers can appreciate and understand each piece of work, or simply connect with the piece that has an emotional impact or meaning for them, find symmetry, complementarity, and balance between the Gallery’s themes and the artwork & support artists with a strong personal vision who don’t worry about following fashions or trends.
The Gallery’s established artists include Tessa Dodds. Tessa’s portraiture exhibition is a dynamic, rotating display of work. It is currently titled Wabi Sabi – Imperfectly Perfect (Wabi meaning simplicity and harmony with nature, and Sabi referring to the beauty that comes with age and wear).
A compelling selection of emerging local artists hangs in Little Tin Gallery. The selection of work is rotated every two months, with a new group of local artists, highlighting the diverse and creative approaches of each individual’s work. The collection is curated to showcase the complementarity of the artworks. Local artists are encouraged to visit Little Tin Gallery and submit an expression of interest to exhibit their work if they feel they are the right fit for the gallery.
We are committed to a model of artist and community engagement that supports fun, discussion, and learning. It is an interactive place where people can think, ask questions, consider new ideas, and exchange perspectives. It is the Gallery philosophy to ensure that everyone who visits feels welcome and has the opportunity to explore new ideas and concepts without fear or pressure to purchase.
