Quiddity Place is a destination for food, wine, art and discovery, nestled in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula, just 90 minutes from Melbourne and 20 minutes from Geelong.

More than a place to eat, drink or stay, Quiddity Place brings together a collection of experiences throughout its gardens and surrounds. It is home to Oakdene Wine’s second cellar door, Hidden Frog Restaurant, Tin Liz Gallery, Little Tin Gallery showcasing local artists, boutique accommodation and estate-grown Lighthouse olive oil.

Art, food, wine and hospitality come together throughout the property, with something unexpected around every corner. At the heart of the experience is a creative approach to food, wine and hospitality, where seasonal modern Australian flavours meet a touch of European flair. Art is woven throughout Quiddity Place, from its galleries and curated artworks, including a private Indigenous art collection, to the gardens and the giant Hidden Frog sculpture that welcomes guests to the restaurant.

The name Quiddity comes from the idea of the distinctive quality that makes something what it is, its essential character. It felt fitting for a place shaped by family, imagination and a desire to create experiences that are a little different.
